I updated my class room wipe off calendar today. I put the 18th on the first Monday and the entire remainder of the school year fit on the one calendar! We are down to the wire.
MSM is working on the last unit which is Pythagorean Theorem.
SPRINT is working on their last unit which is Unit 7 - Probability.

We are in the home stretch as WASL testing concludes this week for students who were not absent on any of the testing days. MSM classes are well underway in the Probability Unit. Sprint classes will begin Lesson 2 of Unit 6 this week.

Welcome back. I hope everyone had a great week off. We spent our week off in the thick of our kitchen remodel. What a mess! It will be worth it when it is finished though.
We start new units in both Sprint and MSM today.
Next week WASL testing begins. I will not assign homework during those two weeks.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone remember to wear green to school on Tuesday. This is extra cool for ESH!
Next week is Parent Teacher Conferences. Early dismissal (1:15) all week.
The following week is Spring Break. I just wish it would get more “spring like” out there!

Wednesday March 5th marked the Middle of 3rd Quarter. Progress Reports will be sent home next week with students.

In MSM we are wrapping up the Stretching & Shrinking Unit and will review Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The District Assessment will be Thursday and Friday.
In SPRINT, our Gonzaga University student teacher, Kate Griffith will be teaching her first lesson to 6th period on Thursday. How exciting!
Sign up forms went home today with kids for parent-teacher conferences. Please be sure to fill your form out with the day(s) and time(s) that work best for your family and return them as soon as possible. It is a huge task for our office staff to schedule all of those conferences.
