- Sit in your assigned seat each day.
- Give your best effort each day.
- We are a TEAM! Share your solutions, thoughts, ideas, and HELP EACH OTHER!
Value being prepared and on time to class
- Use your passing period for drinks and restroom breaks. I need to plan these things outside of class time and you can too.
- Come prepared. You will not be allowed to return to your locker for forgotten items.
Keep our learning environment free from distraction
- I prefer you sharpen pencils before class starts; if necessary you may do so without asking during work time, but not during a lesson or other time someone is talking to the class.
- Do not throw anything in class.
- ABSOLUTELY NO personal technology (except calculators) allowed
Respect School and Personal Property
- Take care of our valuable technology (calculators).
- NEVER, ever write or scratch on the desks.
Grades:
Your grade will be calculated using these criteria:
- 50% District Assessments (unit tests),
- 20% Formative Assessment (quizzes, presentations, etc.)
- 20% Class work and
- 10% Homework.
Classwork and homework are crucial practice for you to master the mathematical goals in this class. Failure to complete assignments harms your ability to be successful on assessments.
